Terms of Service

1. About the Service

OwnerHive helps small businesses manage their social media presence from a single dashboard. The Service allows you to connect your social media accounts — including TikTok — to view account statistics, manage your published content, and schedule and publish new content to your own accounts.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering, and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Connecting Social Media Accounts

The Service allows you to connect third-party social media accounts, including TikTok, using their official authorization (OAuth) systems.

• By connecting your TikTok account, you authorize OwnerHive to access your basic profile information, account statistics, and list of published videos, and to upload and publish videos to your account — only when you initiate or schedule such actions.
• You may disconnect a connected account at any time from Configuration → Social Accountswithin the Service, or by revoking OwnerHive’s access in your TikTok app settings.
• Your use of TikTok through the Service remains subject to TikTok’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

4. Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all content you upload to or publish through the Service.
• By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service (for example, uploading a video to TikTok on your behalf at your request).
• You are solely responsible for the content you publish and confirm that you have the rights necessary to publish it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or misleading;
• Send spam or engage in deceptive or manipulative engagement practices;
• Violate the terms, policies, or community guidelines of any connected platform, including TikTok;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by OwnerHive and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as TikTok. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party platforms. Features that depend on third-party APIs may change or become unavailable if those platforms modify their services.

8. Suspension and Termination

• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk or possible legal exposure for us or connected platforms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and connected account data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always publish successfully to third-party platforms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OwnerHive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OwnerHive operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
