• Content: videos, captions, and other media you upload to schedule or publish through the Service.

b. Information from connected TikTok accounts

When you choose to connect your TikTok account, we access certain data through TikTok’s official API, with your explicit authorization, limited to the following scopes:

We access only the data covered by these scopes. We never access your TikTok password, private messages, or any data beyond what you authorize.

c. Information collected automatically

• Basic usage data such as log information, browser type, and IP address, used for security and to improve the Service.
• Cookies necessary for authentication and keeping you signed in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Service — display your connected accounts, analytics, and published content in your dashboard;
• To publish or schedule videos to your own TikTok account, only when you initiate or schedule the action;
• To secure your account and prevent unauthorized access;
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• To improve the reliability and functionality of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your TikTok data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. TikTok data is used solely to provide the features described above.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Access tokens for connected TikTok accounts are stored encrypted and are accessible only to the systems that need them to provide the Service.
• Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by access controls.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• TikTok data is retained only while your TikTok account remains connected to OwnerHive.
• If you disconnect your TikTok account from Configuration → Social Accounts, we delete the associated access tokens and stop accessing your TikTok data.
• If you delete your OwnerHive account, we delete your personal data and connected-account data from our systems, except where retention is required by law.
• You may also request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and correction: you can view and update your account information in the Service at any time.
• Disconnecting TikTok:you can revoke OwnerHive’s access from within the Service (Configuration → Social Accounts) or from your TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.
• Deletion: you can delete your account or request data deletion by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with TikTok through its official developer platform. Our access to and use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. Your use of TikTok itself is governed by TikTok’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
